Hello there.

I’m a Christian(Protestant) of Southern Han Chinese ethnicity. I currently reside in the island city of Singapore where I’m an Arts student studying in a Junior College. I was born on 7th April 1992 and my Myer Briggs Personality type is INFP.

Blogging is how I destress and write about my own opinions. My opinions are largely unsupported by any factual evidence. They’re not an evaluation or assessment of facts or social issues so don’t treat them like so. I just enjoy writing without any word limit or boundaries as to which topic I can write about. It is, in other words, rambling, but it’s great self indulgence all the same. I enjoy having fun with flowery language and exaggeration, and I can also be incredibly biased and partial since my opinions are mostly influenced by my mood and emotions so don’t take anything I say too seriously. Also, typos are common since I type at a crazy fast speed to make sure all my inspiration doesn’t disappear before I type them down. I’m too lazy to correct them so I just live with it.

I am a daydreamer. I’m the type of person who stares into thin air with a glazed look on my eyes and snaps awake when a friend waves her hand in front of me. I do this unintentionally. It’s one of my habits and a way for me to entertain myself when I’m bored. I’m also pretty introspective(if I do say so myself), and I change my mind about myself or anything else very often. That’s why my ‘About Me’ page is constantly being updated.

 

I’m difficult to live with, I believe. I’m untidy, forgetful and extremely lazy. I procrastinate at every opportunity and only tidy my room once in every few months when the clutter starts to annoy me. I have mood swings and irritable moments, and I DO scream at people, especially when I need to be alone. I do things as and when I like, mostly on impulse, rarely according to plan(occasionally I DO plan but things just don’t follow).

 

I find humour in anything and everything. It’s annoyingly hilarious. I’m easily amused and I can laugh in almost any situation, even when a friend smiles at me from across the room, or when there’s deadly silence and the atmosphere is tense. It doesn’t mean I’m not serious, because most of the time I can’t help it! I just think that laughter is a way for my stress to escape.

 

I’m an idealist, like it or lump it. I believe that world peace, equality, end to hunger and poverty and all other forms of discrimination are possible. I have no basis for my stand. It’s just what I believe in. My thoughts tend towards the unrealistic and extreme, whether paranoid or overly optimistic. I am also extremely unpragmatic. I don’t mind doing things even if they aren’t useful. I believe in studying inapplicable subjects, even if you don’t use that knowledge later in life. I like anything that catches my interest or satisfies my curiosity.

 

I don’t have a lot of friends. Aquaintances, maybe. But I find it hard to have a truly close friendship with another person. My social life is non existent, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like being around people who I have fun with, people who accept me for who I am even though I may not be close to them.

 

I’m curious and inquisitive. I want to know as much as possible but with every answer I get, many more questions are being formed. I ask questions, weird ones, logical ones. I don’t just want to know what and how, I want to know WHY. I seek to understand humans, ideas, the environment, even science. I love learning so so much, although I hate studying for exams. THe repitition and routine just kills me. I learn by my own principles. My favourite form of learning takes palce outside school, at my own apce, on anything I want, anything I feel like learning, anytime I wish to do so.
