Photolog 2009 (I) January 6, 2009

Filed under: Movies & TV, Photo-plagued, Snippets of my life — chefsalad @ 2:42 am

Since I’ve taken some photos recently, I thought I’d do a photolog for once.

31 Dec 2008

As said, I went to the airport to send my cousin off and while we were sitting at the benches waiting, my brother picked at his scab, creating a bloody gash on his shin.

He then pressed the droplets of blood onto a piece of tissue paper to form this:

Interesting isn’t it. The first time I saw it I couldn’t stop laughing.

So that’s the last photo of 2008.

2 Jan 2009

I don’t remember doing anything on 1st Jan apart from sleeping and watching a movie, and I didn’t take any photos anyway.

On 2nd Jan, I had a dental appointment so I went for lunch with my aunt before that at CBD. Along the way, I saw a cute ginger-coloured cat.

I tried to snap a close shot, but I was afraid it would run away so this was the closest I dared to go.

My lunch at a Japanese grill restaurant.

Most people would just take a grilled item set, but because I’m such a noodle fanatic(yes, really), I really wanted some form of noodles and this was the only one that had BOTH noodles(UDON!) and a grilled dish.

Me with my lunch.

I’m going to be putting more photos up, because I’m going to try to reorganize the storage in my room with some stuff from IKEA, and also because I am currently crazy over mini oranges that I HAVE to blog about.

On a randon sidenote, WHY IS EVERYONE GOING CRAZY OVER THE NONYA SHOW? WHY?! In my humble opinion, it isn’t very exciting and interesting. The characters are all stereotypical, and so are the events. Extremely predictable.

*shakes head*

If there should be a current TV craze, it should be ILJIMAE! Come on, that show is way more exciting, has better characters(or at least, more interesting ones) and a more intricate storyline and background! Plus, the make up is way better. It’s natural and realistic. I realised that actresses and actors in Mediacorp dramas always seem to look perfectly groomed with perfect clothes and makeup no matter what kind of person they’re playing(unless its something extreme like a beggar) and that is so unlike reality.
